Planning a wedding can be stressful, but the worry doesn't stop when the day arrives.  You then have to co-ordinate and put into action all your months of hard work.  Rather than enjoying the day it's easy to get caught up in making sure everything is going smoothly, then before you know it the day is over!

These days many brides want their bridesmaids and the mums to enjoy the day.  There's a lot of pressure on the bridal party on the day, so wouldn't it be nice to have an expert there to take the worries away and do all the little tasks that make the difference.  Wedding gowns can be fiddly to fasten with freshly manicured nails, the corset backed gowns especially. Then there's the photographs.  Guests presenting gifts halfway though the pictures, and there is nobody there to take them for safekeeping, the buttonholes for the groomsmen have turned up with the brides bouquet, how do we get them to the men?  Oh no, I've laddered my stockings!

This is where we come in.

We are here to make sure that all angles are covered, including ones you hadn't thought of!  We'll be there from the moment you've had your hair done to help you into your dress and lace you in or zip you up securely.  We'll then make sure that you're looking stunning for your pictures by organising your beautiful gown and veil, working closely with the photograper for any fancy or difficult shots.  Of course, we'll be closely watching the time to make sure that the Bride isn't fashionably late - the groom will be nervous enough without that!  We'll then meet you at the church to make sure you glide down the aisle in style by arranging your veil, gown and train for your 'big walk'.  Outside the church we will be on hand to tend your needs  before slipping away to your reception venue. This is where I'll again assist and help with any re-adjusting of your bridalwear (this is where many brides choose to take their veil out) and making sure that any gifts presented to you are taken to the gift table.  Once the chaos has died down and your venue is ready to serve the meal, this is usually where we slip away but not before making sure you have everything you need.

The above is a general guideline of a typical day, but most usually involve a lot more.  Each wedding is very different from the next!  I've had a broken heel, a very emotional Mum with no tissues, a hook from the Brides gown fall off .... you name it, we've had it happen.  When we attend your wedding we come complete with a suppiles kit, which contains everything you could think of for those quick repairs or emergencies.

I am also available to help with any planning aspects before the Big Day.  Not all venues have an allocated professional wedding planner, so I take up this role ensuring that everything is ready for your guests and your big entrance. When it comes to weddings, no job is too big or small!

As every wedding, Bride and the Brides requirements are different, we tend to quote on a case-by-case basis. Bridal Gown Carriers / Bags

We can also supply protective gown bags. Wwith most online or  second hand purchases, you do not get any sort of protective carrier to store your wedding dress in safely. A duvet cover or old sheet will not do - body oils in the materials can get into your gown material and stain your dress, turning it yellow and leaving an odour.

Our bags are strong, safe and feature an expandable bottom for the fuller dress and allowance for the coat hanger hook to be thread through for ease of hanging. The bag fastens with a strong nylon zip. As wooden coat hangers are recommended, we can also supply one of these with the bag for a nominal charge should it be required.
